Aledo ISD Honors Inaugural Circle of Greatness Winners
On Monday, Dec. 9, Aledo ISD Superintendent Dr. Susan K. Bohn surprised the first three winners of the Circle of Greatness honor.
Three times a year, three district employees – an auxiliary staff member, a paraprofessional staff member and a professional/administrative staff member - will be recognized for their exceptional service. Circle of Greatness honorees are nominated by staff, students and parents. The following are some of the comments by those who submitted nominations:
Nicole Comet, Bus Driver
She drives bus #10 and always has a smile on her face and demonstrates an attitude of greatness! She is always calm and sweet with her Bearcat bus riders.
Danette Tennyson, Pre-K Aide at Coder Elementary
She is shared between both PK teachers and works hard to provide the much-needed support for both classrooms. She is a huge asset to the early childhood program.
Deanne Torres, Math Teacher at McAnally Intermediate School
She is currently piloting McAnally's first Pre-AP Math program, and is growing greatness in the four new math teachers in her department. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel valued and part of the team.
