Aledo ISD has named Chris Campbell as the chief facilities and construction officer.

Campbell has been a senior project manager for Imperial Construction since March of 2021. Prior to that, he was the director of facilities project management, real estate and facilities, and the assistant director of construction services for Tarrant County College for 10 years. Campbell also worked for Ed Parker, Inc., as the director of construction from 2003 to 2011.

“We are in the middle of a period of rapid growth in Aledo ISD, and, as we have been working on a long-range facility plan with our Board of Trustees and Aledo Growth Committee, we decided it was critical that we increase the leadership in our construction and facilities area and have someone on board to support and lead in the facility planning process,” Superintendent Dr. Susan Bohn said. “We are very excited to have Chris joining our leadership team as he brings nearly two decades of experience in construction and project management in the education field, as well as a personal commitment to excellence in leadership.”

Campbell has a bachelor of business administration  and a minor in entrepreneurship from Lamar University. He has a combined 15 leadership and management certificates from the American Association of Community Colleges, North Texas Community College Consortium, Tarrant County College and eBuilder Construction. Campbell also has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of Physical Plant Administration and the Dallas Fort Worth Association of Physical Plant Administration. He has been a member of the Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council and the Tarrant County College Construction Management Technology Advisory Committee.

“I am beyond blessed for this opportunity to serve the community where our family lives, and I am excited to work for this exceptional school district we chose for our 5 children years ago,” Campbell said. “I look forward to using my skills and expertise to help Aledo ISD grow and excel.”

As Campbell will be a major part of the Aledo Growth Committee and long-range facility planning for the district, he will be starting with the district this month.
