Circle of Greatness Special Honorees Recognized

The Aledo ISD recognized the last group of Circle of Greatness Special Honorees for the 2020-2021 school year on Thursday. This group of dedicated employees included: Lindsey Elcock (professional), Tonya Thurman (paraprofessional), Toshlyn Johnson (auxiliary) and Casey Hatcher (substitute/campus guest teacher).


Lindsey Elcock is a special education teacher at Aledo Middle School. Her nominators said she builds relationships with students and works very hard to keep them on track, seeking out opportunities to empower and equip them for success.


Tonya Thurman is the principal secretary at Aledo High School. Her nominators said she goes above and beyond daily and jumps into action to help parents, students and other employees whenever needed.


Toshlyn Johnson is a bus driver in the transportation department. Her nominator said, "it's a blessing and a comfort to know that we send our kids on a bus with a driver who knows and cares for each one!"


Casey Hatcher is a campus guest teacher and nurse substitute at Walsh Elementary. Her nominator said she's always in demand because, "she's polite, always has a good attitude and is well liked."
