National School Counseling Week: All in for All Students
February 4, 2021
Aledo ISD counselors are All In For All Students, and we are honored to celebrate them this week during National School Counseling Week sponsored by the American School Counselor Association. School counselors are actively engaged in the educational success of students, helping not only to increase student achievement but also to develop and improve their social and emotional wellness. School counselors do more than ever, and we are proud of the 13 school counselors and two intervention counselors who serve students across 10 campuses!
Here are five ways Aledo ISD counselors are an asset to the district and its students:
Aledo ISD counselors promote and foster social and emotional wellness to all students across the district.
Counselors provide academic and college and career guidance to students and parents at all levels.
Bearcat counselors are advocates for families in the district, connecting them with needed community resources like the Aledo Children’s AdvoCats.
School counselors support the needs of kids and families in crisis whenever the need arises.
They have endless passion for working with kids and helping to shape the Aledo ISD community!
