Aledo Reads @ Home Encourages Summer Reading

Aledo Reads at Home

Aledo Reads At Home encourages and motivates students to read books of their choice throughout the summer, keeping their imaginations going and their minds sharp while school is not in session.

The Aledo ISD has developed a list of fiction and non-fiction titles by grade level for students and families who would like suggestions of high-interest books by grade level.

Once a student finishes a book – from June 1 through the end of the summer – they can complete a reading response activity from the district’s online choice board and submit the activity in an online form, and they will be entered into drawings for prizes throughout the summer.

Aledo ISD also wants to see what you are reading over the summer! After reading a book be sure to post on social media and use the hashtag #AledoReadsAtHome.
