"When in doubt go to the library," is one of my favorite quotes, because the library is my happy place. Hi, my name is Brooke Hogue and I am delighted to serve as the Librarian at Vandagriff Elementary. I have always been a reader and enjoy nothing more than sharing books and reading with anyone I am around. I love how books can help us make connections with each other, teach us a lesson, give us new knowledge, and provide a means of escape. As the librarian, I will share the joy of reading with anyone who walks through our beautiful library doors. 

I have been part of Aledo ISD for many years -- as a mom, volunteer, substitute, instructional aide, and 2nd grade teacher. I have two Bearcats myself that also enjoy reading. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share books and all things reading with your students.
