Lynn Morgan was elected to the AISD Board of Trustees in 2025, and her term expires in May 2028. She and her family have called Aledo home since 2013.
Mrs. Morgan received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University and later went on to receive her Master of Science degree in economics from the University of North Texas, and her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Texas at Dallas. After teaching economics at the collegiate level for many years, Morgan recently took a Research Scientist II position with the Texas Schools Project, a research institute housed at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research interests include healthcare economics, the economics of education, labor economics, and applied econometrics.
Mrs. Morgan served on the 2024 AISD Attendance Zone Committee and was part of the 2024 inaugural Aledo Leads cohort. She and her husband Brice are actively involved in the Aledo community, as are their three kids - Max (Class of 2031), Wellsley (Class of 2033), and Millie (Class of 2035).
