Hoyt Harris has served as a Trustee for the Aledo Independent School District since 2011, and his current term expires in May 2026. Mr. Harris served as board president from 2019 - 2023.
Mr. Harris grew up locally in Benbrook and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University. After graduation, he worked as an Executive Director with the Fort Worth YMCA managing facilities and raising funds for scholarships and new facilities. He currently oversees operations in Parker County for Buzz Custom Fence and assists in his family business, Billy Harris Roofing.
He and his wife Jennifer have lived in Aledo since 2004. Their three children have attended Aledo schools and two are recent graduates of TCU.
