Forrest Collins has lived in Texas his entire life and has served on the Aledo ISD Board of Trustees since 2016. He was elected Board President in May 2023, and his current term runs through May 2028.
Mr. Collins is a graduate of Arlington High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also holds a Master Electrician License and serves as president of his family’s electrical business.
He is married to Stefanie, a former special education teacher, and together they have two Bearcat children, Cash and Ryder. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, coaching youth sports, and advocating for families in the community.
For Mr. Collins, the most rewarding part of being a trustee is making a difference in the lives of students. He believes that public education is a ladder of opportunity - one that allows every child, regardless of circumstance, to climb toward success.
