Committed to the Cats is a one-of-a-kind Pre-K and Kindergarten special event designed to celebrate the start of each child’s educational journey. Inspired by university signing days, this special event gives families the opportunity to prepare their students for the 2026-27 school year in an exciting and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees can meet their future teachers, explore available student resources, and connect with community partners who support their child’s success. Join us as we officially welcome the next generation of Bearcats!

Meet Future Teachers
Families will have the chance to meet the dedicated Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers who will guide their child’s early learning journey. These educators are committed to creating a nurturing and engaging environment where students feel safe, supported and excited to learn. Meet teachers and district staff in person, build relationships and gain insight into the classroom experience, daily routines, and learning expectations.
Learn About Resources
Discover the academic, social and support resources available to help students thrive in Aledo ISD. From early literacy programs and specialized learning support to social-emotional development tools, families will learn how the district is prepared to meet each student’s unique needs. This event also provides valuable information about transportation, meal programs and other essential services that contribute to student success.
Connect with Community Partners
