Be a Bearcat Day Details:
Be A Bearcat Day is for prospective Aledo ISD students - those who do NOT already attend or plan to attend Aledo ISD schools - and their families to explore our schools.
This event is different from a campus open house/kindergarten roundup! Those events will happen in the coming months … stay tuned for details!
Registration is limited for each campus, so complete the registration as soon as possible so we are ready for your arrival!

Upcoming Be a Bearcat Events
Each campus will have an information session and then take parents and students on a tour of the campus. This event is for the whole family - parents and students!
Please note that part of that arrival process will include signing in at our front desk, which is a normal part of our safety and security protocol. In the registration form, we will ask adults for their Driver License number so that we can expedite that process for you on Be A Bearcat Day!
Elementary School (Kindergarten - 5th Grades)

Friday, March 27 at 8:30 AM
Be a Bearcat Day a special opportunity for prospective families to explore our elementary schools and experience what it means to grow and learn in Aledo ISD.
Hosted at all Aledo ISD Elementary School campuses:
- Annetta Elementary School
- Coder Elementary School
- McCall Elementary School
- McKinney Elementary School
- Stuard Elementary School
- Vandagriff Elementary School
- Walsh Elementary School
During Be a Bearcat Day, families will:
- Tour our elementary campuses
- Meet principals, teachers and students
- Experience our welcoming school culture
- Learn about strong academic programs and student support
- See how Aledo ISD helps young learners grow with confidence
This event is designed for the whole family so parents and students can experience the excitement of becoming a Bearcat together.
Middle School (6th - 8th Grades)
Friday, March 27 at 11:00 AM
Be a Bearcat Day gives prospective middle school families a chance to explore our campuses, meet educators and learn how Aledo ISD supports students during these important academic and personal growth years.
Hosted at all Aledo ISD Middle School campuses:
- Aledo Middle School
- McAnally Middle School
During Be a Bearcat Day, families will:
- Tour our middle school campuses
- Meet administrators, teachers and students
- Learn about advanced academics and student supports
- Explore athletics, fine arts and extracurricular activities
- Discover how Aledo ISD helps students build confidence and leadership
Students and parents will leave with a better understanding of the academic rigor, opportunities and supportive culture that define the Bearcat experience.

High School (9th - 12th Grades)

Friday, March 27 at 1:30 PM
Be a Bearcat Day offers prospective high school families an inside look at the opportunities available to students preparing for college, career and life beyond Aledo ISD.
Hosted at:
- Aledo High School - Daniel Ninth Grade Campus
- (Be a Bearcat Day date for Aledo Learning Center will be announced soon)
During Be a Bearcat Day, families will:
- Tour the campus and learning spaces
- Meet administrators, teachers and students
- Learn about advanced and college-level coursework
- Discover career pathways and opportunities to earn industry-based certifications
- Explore their passion through award-winning extracurricular activities in athletics, fine arts and more
- See how Aledo ISD prepares students for success after graduation
Families will gain a clear understanding of how Aledo ISD provides exceptional experiences and prepares Bearcats for their future.
