Mrs. Kristi Creed, RN

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others...

About the School Nurse: Mrs. Kristi Creed begins her 11th year as the Intermediate Campus Nurse. Before joining the Bearcat Family, her nursing experience includes twelve years of practicing Nursing at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas and Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida in the Pediatric Peri-Anesthesia Care Units in Surgical Services. Nurse Creed uses over 20 years of Pediatric Nursing experience in her daily nursing care to children. Her experience is purely pediatric and prepares her with a skill set for caring for school health needs.

Nurse Creed actively serves on school committees and in the community: District School Health Advisory Committee, Drug Alcohol Safety Health in STUCO, organizes the campus Medical Response Team and Camp Nurse with North Side Baptist Church.

She enjoys helping students better understand their medical diagnoses, achieve greater understanding and become proficient in managing medical cares while she strives to help students and staff experience increased instruction time and healthy school days in the classroom.

My Nursing Mission: My hope is to serve my students, families, and staff wholeheartedly the best of my abilities and training as a Registered Nurse in the educational setting through: Cultivated caring and clinical compassion, Elevating Educators, Administrators, and Staff and walking along side Educators, Sacrificing to serve all students, Serving and working together, and Believing there is room for everyone

My Plan of Action: To foster a healthy environment for all students by caring and meeting individual health needs while inspiring students to become healthy community role models and learning leaders in all they do.
