Mrs. Anita Callaway

I grew up in Odessa, Texas and graduated from Permian High School, otherwise known as MOJO, or the source of Friday Night Lights.  I began my college career at Howard College in Big Spring, Texas on a basketball scholarship.  After earning my associates degree, I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a bachelor of science degree with honors.  I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in 2016.

I am entering my twenty-third year of teaching and my thirteenth year in Aledo.  My husband and I love Aledo because of the sense of community, the great school system, and the Friday Night Lights- all of the things that remind us of our hometown.  We hope our boys will flourish in this similar environment.

I strongly believe that the Daniel Ninth Grade campus will be “the start of something great" for its students.

Welcome Bearcats to DNGC!
