BS in Secondary Education
"If you enjoy what you're doing, you never have to work a day in your life." Teaching is not only my chosen profession but also my passion! I believe we all must be life-long learners. The race is not a dash but a marathon. I hope to inspire my students to find their passion and to strive to do their best in every endeavor!
This year marks my 37th year in education and my sixteenth year at Aledo. My wife, Emily, taught elementary school for 31 years and is now a real estate agent with Faith Bridge Realty. I am a proud "Papa" of two wonderful daughters, Kellyn, a graduate of Tarleton State University who is a secondary art teacher, and Chloe, a graduate of Texas A&M and is currently working on a Master's Degree in International Affairs at George Washington University.
I teach World History, AP Human Geography, and sponsor UIL Academic Current Issues and Events, and the Junior World Affairs Club.
Tutorials are offered before school, after school, and during I-30 from Tuesdays through Friday. My Conference Period is 5th Period from 1:20-2:10.
