Mrs. Kristie Vandergriff

Please allow me to introduce myself . . .

I have been teaching at Aledo Middle School for 18 years; prior to AMS, I taught at Stuard Elementary after coming to the Aledo ISD from Dallas. While once an eighth grade English Language Arts teacher, over the years I have taken on the rolls of Journalism I teacher as well as Film as a Literary Genre teacher. To add, I am the Gifted and Talented coordinator for our campus. While it may seem as if I wear many hats, each endeavor brings to me a joy for teaching and a love for middle school students.

On a personal note, I have two grown sons, one of which has given me two beautiful grandsons, the other has given me an adorable granddog and grandkitty. There is nothing I enjoy more than having friends and family at my home where we partake in good food, good conversation, and good times.
