Welcome to my ESL class! 

This year I am excited to teach English as a Second Language to students at Stuard and Vandagriff Elementary. I have been an educator for 7 years, all of which have been spent in Aledo ISD. Over the years, I have been a teacher of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students, but am excited for my new roll with ESL. I am looking forward to working with smaller groups of students of all elementary ages! I want my students to know that I am one of their biggest cheerleaders and will advocate for them both in and out of the classroom.

I am originally from Aledo and knew I wanted to come back as soon as I could, so that I could teach in the amazing district that helped raise me. Fun Fact: I actually attended both Stuard and Vandagriff Elementary during my elementary years. Before teaching, I left the metroplex for a short time to attend college at Texas Tech University. While there, I met my best friend & husband, Sean. We have been married for just over 5 years and have an 18 month old son named Emmett. During my free time, I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy being outside on the Brazos River, watching football and baseball, and taking our son on adventures to the zoo and park.

This is going to be a fantastic year and I cannot wait to get to know you & your student!
