*ATTENTION ALL 8TH FOOTBALL PARENTS CHANGES TO FOOTBALL PRACTICE TIMES AND EXPECTATIONS. There are some changes that we will have to enforce and follow due to Aledo and UIL wet bulb policy. AMS and MMS will be doing the exact same thing with the same schedule for football practices. 8th Grade Doors will open at 7:00 a.m. 8th Grade will practice with 7th grade in the morning due to Wet Bulb /UIL guidelines that our district will follow. 8TH will practice from 7:15- 8:15 then get dressed for class. They will also practice during their 8th athletic period but will be too hot to go outside. We will do white board chalk talk, lift, and do walk throughs/alignment on basketball court some days. This will be our football schedule until we drop in Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT). We will practice until the BELL 4:10. Student athletes will be able to ride the bus home until it cools off and our schedule changes. As the season continues and wet bulb globe temperatures drop, we will resume practice after school from 3:15 until 5:15. This will be communicated and you will be given a heads up as when we will be able to resume after school practices. Please help me share this information with other parents.
