Hello! I am excited to join Aledo ISD this year as a dyslexia teacher. This is my fifteenth year in education and my fourth year working in dyslexia intervention. After graduating from The University of North Texas in 2007, I have worked side by side with learners from Kindergarten through 8th Grade, with a focus mainly on English Language Arts and Reading. Helping neurodiverse learners unlock their potential by growing their confidence and skills is one of my passions as an educator.

I have a large family here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and my favorite thing to do outside of work is have family game nights and spend time laughing and talking with all of my family gathered together. I'm also currently back in school working on my doctorate degree in education, so if I'm not busy with family, you can find me busily reading, researching, and writing the evenings away!
