Hello! My name is Kevin Porras, and I'm the music teacher at Stuard Elementary School. I graduated from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green) where I studied vocal music education. Aside from voice being my primary instrument, I also play guitar, piano, and some percussion. I have a wife, she teaches music as well, and two dogs. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being active (running, hiking, strength training, fishing). I'm excited to be part of the Stuard Elementary family!
