Hi!  I am so pumped for my first year at Vanda as an Aledo Bearcat! 2020-2021 is my 15th year as an educator!  I have taught reading intervention, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade, but the past 3 years, I have worked with dyslexic students using the MTA program.  I am excited to continue that path with our students, working to support and build their brilliant, dyslexic brains up!  I absolutely feel giddy when my students feel successful in reading!

Doing fun things with the fam is where you'll find me when I am not working.  We love to do outdoorsy things like ride bikes, hike trails, and just explore!  I have a husband, 3 adult age daughters, and one daughter in first grade.  We are excited to find more of the beautiful places to see in Aledo!
