Welcome to second grade! My name is Desiree Aars! I am so excited to start a new school year in Aledo! This is my 14th year of teaching and my 2nd year at Vandagriff. My teaching career has been split between first and second grade. I love teaching! We are going to have a wonderful school year! 

A little bit about me:

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I met my husband while attending A&M and we have a chocolate lab named Lucy.
