Hello! My name is Courtney Sawyer and I am the ELAR (Reading) Inclusion Teacher at Vandagriff this year.  This is my second year teaching in Aledo and I am so excited to be at Vandagriff.  I have three children, my oldest graduated from Aledo in May and will be attending Weatherford College this year, my daughter will be a junior this year, and my youngest a sophomore at AHS. I graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a degree in Early Childhood Education.   I taught special education for four years in Ft Worth and 1st grade for one. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my children and my wonderful husband.  I look forward to a wonderful year, and Go Bearcats!
