First grade ROCKS!
I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year! This is my first year at Vandagriff, but my 3rd year in Aledo ISD, and my 13th year teaching! I am SO excited to be a part of the Vanda family: Vanda's amazing 1st grade team, and our neighborhood school, where my own children have attended since Kinder!
I am married to my high school sweetheart Zach, and we have two wonderful kiddos, Natalie who is in 4th grade and Jonas who is also in 1st grade. I'm a Red Raider and a Cardinal, Texas Tech for my undergrad, and Lamar for grad. school.
Reading and phonics are my passions and I cannot wait to share my love of reading with your children, and I hope they will love it as much as I do!
