My name is Katelyn Patterson and I am excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher! I am so thrilled to be teaching your child this year! This is my 4th year of teaching and my 2nd year at Walsh. I grew up in Fort Worth Texas, and attended Texas Christian University...Go Frogs!! I received my bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I am currently working on my masters in Special Education at Texas Tech University. I am married to a wonderful man named Christopher and we just welcome our new baby girl Emery into our family. She was born on June 20, 2019. We feel so blessed share each day with her!

At the beginning of this year, I will be missing my Aledo Bearcats. I am spending time with our new daughter helping her get healthy and strong. I will be returning on November 4, 2019. It is my mission to install the love of learning in my students and to provide support to each one individually to help them meet challenging academic demands. Let's make this the best year yet!
