Mr. Scott Abbott
Hello! My name is Scott Abbott and I am so excited to be a part of this amazing Walsh Elementary Elementary School. I will be the new fourth grade Math teacher this year and cannot wait to get to know every one of you!
I grew up in Keller, Texas and attended the University of North Texas. I recieved my bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and immediately began teaching in Castleberry ISD. I eventually moved my teaching career to Millsap ISD where I had the opportunity to teach fifth grade math and fell in love with making math come to life for students. I have two children, 12 and 10, who still attend Millsap in 7th and 4th grade!
My wife, Heidi is the Dyslexia Specialist in Millsap ISD and call Weatherford our home where we have lived for the past 10 years. I am an outdoor enthusiast and love fishing, sailing, backpacking and anything else that gets me on the water or outside!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have anytime! I am here for you and your child anytime!! My conference time is from 8:00 - 8:50 a.m.
