    • This week is National FFA Week. Tomorrow be sure to wear blue and gold and we will have two guest FFA state officers to come and speak in the auditorium during flex, all are welcome!

     

    • The ASL sign for the week (in honor of President's Day this week) is TRUMP!  Happy Signing!  

     

    • Jumpin’ Jamboree sign-up info will be displayed on the digital display in the cafeteria during flex this week.

     

    • If you signed up for Cheer tryouts, don’t forget there will be a mandatory parent meeting in the DLC at Aledo High School tonight at 6:00 p.m. Packets with paperwork will be distributed on this date.

     

    • Join us tonight for a senior style show presenting A Few Good Men. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10. Come see some of Aledo’s finest fellas strut their stuff TONIGHT on the catwalk.

     

    • If you signed up for the Carter Blood Drive, HOSA students will continue to be available in the cafeteria during lunches to help you complete your paperwork, which is due TOMORROW.

     

    • Goodfellas is hosting a pancake sale tomorrow in the AHS front foyer starting at 7 am. Pancakes cost $3 for a small stack and $5 for a big stack.  Come hungry!

     

    • Don’t forget to wear red next Monday for the last Monday in the heart awareness month! A message from your Student Council – Think, don’t drink.  Because alcohol is encouraged by our culture, we get the idea that it isn’t dangerous.  However, alcohol is the most potent and most toxic of the legal psychoactive drugs according to Beverly R. Potter & Sebastian Orfali.

     

    • AP students – now is the time to register for AP exams. The deadline to request an exam is February 27. See your AP teacher or Mrs. Kisor in the counseling office for information on how to register.
