English as a Second Language

  • The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is designed to enable Limited English Proficient (LEP) students to become competent in speaking, reading, listening, and writing of the English language through the use of second language methods. The ESL program emphasizes the mastery of English language skills, as well as mathematics, science, and social studies, to enable the LEP students to participate equitably in school.
