Cultural Inclusiveness Plan

The Aledo ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) and Board of Trustees have approved this plan to ensure that all students and stakeholders in Aledo ISD are treated fairly and equally. Affirming all students can demonstrate the competencies included in this plan is the ideal and intent of it.

The review and coaching of the competencies listed will take place in two forms:

1.) through regular classroom instruction in the areas of both social studies and health; and
2.) through the intentional planning and delivery of classroom guidance lessons provided by school counselors. Student demonstration of the competencies will be monitored and assessed during the presentation of lessons.
