Aledo ISD pays an average teacher salary that is higher than that of the state according to the most recent Texas Academic Performance Report. Nine of the last 10 years, Aledo ISD has provided a compensation increase to its staff. Below is the timeline; click on each year for expanded information.
Aledo ISD Compensation Timeline
- 23-24 - One-time Payment of 2% of market median salary/pay range midpoint; salary step increase for every teacher; $25/month increase toward medical insurance premium; bus driver pay increase
- 22-23 - 4% raise for teachers and librarians; 4% of mid range for other staff plus targeted adjustments; $15 minimum per hour for nonexempt staff
- 21-22 - 4% raise for teachers and librarians; 4% of pay range midpoint for other staff plus targeted adjustments
- 20-21 - 2% raise for teachers and librarians; 2% of pay range midpoint for other staff plus targeted adjustments
- 19-20: 6.5% for teachers, librarians, nurses (1-5 yrs), 7% (6+ yrs); 6% of midpoint for clerical/paraprofessional/auxiliary; 5% of midpoint for administrative/professional, plus targeted adjustments
- 18-19 - 3% for teachers, librarians and nurses; 3% of pay range midpoint plus targeted adjustments for other staff
- 17-18 - 3% for teachers, librarians and nurses; 3% of pay range midpoint plus targeted adjustments for other staff
- 16-17 - 1% of midpoint general increase plus targeted adjustments throughout all employee groups
- 15-16 - 4% for teachers, librarians and nurses; 4% of pay range midpoint plus targeted adjustments for other staff
- 14-15 - 3% of midpoint general pay increase for staff within pay range and 1.5% of midpoint pay increase for staff over pay range maximum
