The district's annual compliance training is brought to you by Vector Training. You will receive an email notification when you are set up in the system but you are not required to wait for that email. If you have a district email address, that is your username for Vector. If you do not hold a district email address, we used your personal email address for username purposes.

The link below will take you to the login/landing page for Vector. 

Generally, no password is required to log in. Please bookmark this website as a favorite for ease of future access.

You will find the trainings designated for your classification (Auxiliary / Professional-Instructional / Paraprofessional / Substitute, etc.) already loaded and ready for you to click on/access. Along with these trainings, your annual Employee Handbook and Agreements are also posted. You will need to review these documents and confirm understanding.

The complete set of mandatory trainings/documents should take roughly 2-3 hours to complete, and some of these trainings will require a questionnaire at the end. You may start/stop these trainings at designated points provided in the videos for your convenience and finish at later times.

All non-exempt/paraprofessional and auxiliary employees should complete these trainings while you are on the clock. Check with your administrator to determine the best times to view these trainings where you log the time.

The district’s annual Cyber Training hosted by KnowB4 will be sent to you separately at a later date.

You have until October 28, 2022 to complete these Vector Trainings.

FAQ's

What happens if I accidentally "refuse" when signing my evaluation?
The evaluation document is accepted either way. A refusal, intentional or accidental, cannot be undone on the current form. The administrator can create another evaluation document if they choose. The refusal does not impact your standing.

Aledo ISD staff uses FRONTLINE EDUCATION for Absence Management and Time and Attendance. After login you will be able to toggle to any of these.

1. Absence Management – This application is used to:
   1. request and record absences
   2. request substitutes,
   3. view live leave balances*
   4. Substitutes ONLY - view and accept jobs
2. Time & Attendance – Only for Non-exempt employees and Substitutes
   1. All non-exempt employees (auxiliary staff & paraprofessionals) login weekly to submit their electronic timecards for Supervisor’s approval.
   2. Records hours worked.
   3. Substitutes, and retired exempt staff must also clock in and out each day.

   3. Please make sure to update / change from your personal email address to your district email. Important email notifications, including contracts and Letters of Assurance, are sent directly from Frontline.

New hires will create their own Username and Password when completing onboarding.

Active employees hired prior to February 2019, should have their own.

2. If you do not remember your password, you can initiate password reset by entering a successful username.

EMPLOYEE FRONTLINE APP ACCESS

All exempt and non-exempt employees have access to the Frontline cell phone app, which may be used to:

• create absences.
• clock in/out if in Campus premises and ONLY connected to District Wi-Fi
• view leave balances

How to access the APP

• To use the Frontline APP, download from the Play Store or App Store.
• You will be prompted to enter the District's 4 digit access code: 7354

Please click here for the Personnel Records Request Form and submit to the appropriate HR representative upon completion. HR will contact you upon receipt to let you know a timeline of issuance.

Please note that HR must execute a service record process for all staff in the summer before actual records can be issued and printed. This takes place usually in mid-July. Once service records have been processed, your requested documents will be issued and sent to you via the manner in which you designated on your request form.

The Texas Education Agency is the state agency that oversees primary and secondary public education. It is headed by the commissioner of education. The Texas Education Agency will improve outcomes for all public school students in the state by providing leadership, guidance, and support to school systems.

Click here for Teacher Certification Renewal and CPE Audits - Educators holding Standard Certifications must renew every 5 years. Please see the link for further instructions on certification renewals. TEA should send a reminder to your email listed on your TEA account about 6 months prior to your certificate expiration date. Regardless of whether you get the reminder email or not, it is still your responsibility to renew your certifications BEFORE they expire. You should be able to renew your certificate as early as 90 days prior to its expiration.   

Click here to log in to your TEAL login page, sign in, verify your demographic page contents, then select "Renew Standard Certification." Follow the steps as indicated. If you have more than (1) certification, please make sure to select them ALL. Failure to do so, will result in having to pay duplicate costs, so make sure you select them all the first time. The renewal costs range from $17-$32.

Human Resources tracks expiration dates of certifications on the TEA website. It's not necessary to send a new copy of your certification to HR but you can let us know it has been renewed. In addition to renewing your certification, the Texas Administrative Code references professional development requirements to renew your certificate.

TEA CERTIFICATE AUDITS

Please read this in it's entirety below.

TEA RANDOMLY PERFORMS CERTIFICATE AUDITS.  TEA will contact you to let you know you've been selected for an audit. Please make sure your contact info (email and telephone number) is current on your TEA demographic page. If you miss this email because you do not check it regularly, it could result in TEA INACTIVATING YOUR CERTIFICATIONS.

Per TAC §232.11 Holders of the Standard Classroom Teacher Certificate shall complete 150 clock-hours of CPE every five years.

Specific requirements are contained in TAC §232.11 of this title (relating to Requirements to Renew the Standard Classroom Teacher Certificate linked here).

An individual who holds a classroom teacher certificate cannot count more than 25% of the CPE activities toward renewal for an individual who holds a classroom teacher certificate shall include instruction in the following topics:

(A)  collecting and analyzing information that will improve effectiveness in the classroom;

(B)  recognizing early warning indicators that a student may be at risk of dropping out of school;

(C)  digital learning, digital teaching, and integrating technology into classroom instruction;

(D)  educating students with disabilities, including mental health disorders;

(E)  educating students who are educationally disadvantaged;

(F)  educating English language learners;

(G)  educating students at risk of dropping out of school; and

(H)  understanding appropriate relationships, boundaries, and communications between educators and students.

If you hold a lifetime professional or provisional certificate the requirements are different. Please refer to the linked document above for the specific requirements.
