Comprehensive Benefits Package

As a Bearcat, your well-being is a top priority. Our comprehensive benefit package includes medical, vision and dental coverage, so you can take care of yourself while caring for others. We also offer stable retirement benefits through the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), giving you peace of mind for your future.

Employee Childcare & Enrollment

We know how important it is to balance your work and family life. That’s why we offer discounted staff-only childcare through the Aledo ISD Child Development Center. Our littlest Bearcats, the children of our staff, receive a nurturing and high-quality learning environment from the time they’re just 6 months old. It’s one of the many ways we show we care about our employees and their families. Employees can also enroll their children in Aledo ISD schools, no matter where they live.

Aledo ISD values work-life balance. With 20 professional learning and work days throughout the year, many scheduled before or after holidays and grading cycles, we give our staff the time they need to refresh and focus on their personal growth. You’ll also enjoy paid vacation and holidays, ensuring that you have the opportunity to recharge while staying connected to the Bearcat family.

Investment in Your Future

At Aledo ISD, we’re invested in your professional growth. Whether you’re in the classroom or not, we offer a wealth of professional development opportunities, including robust professional learning communities that support the growth of all our employees. We believe in helping you grow into leadership roles, offering chances to advance in your career while supporting you every step of the way.
