Communications & Multimedia Internship
The internship is offered to all Aledo High School students grades 9-12. The program offers students a wide range of opportunities to contribute to the Aledo ISD Communications department and its publication of photos, video, news stories and graphics with parents and the community.
Students in the program are offered opportunities to learn more about photography, video, video production, sports broadcasting, writing, graphic design, marketing and more. The group meets regularly and often has a professional guest speaker who provides hands-on learning experiences for students to learn more about a particular skill. Past guest speakers have been stadium announcers and expert drone pilots.
Students can apply anytime during the school year and will receive an internship shirt and an all-access ID media badge for taking photos and videos at events.
