Click the link below to see the Board of Trustees approved pay raise for the 2025-2026 school year. The Trustees have met in workshops and continuously expressed their desire to reward our staff with salary increases even above and beyond the state-required amounts set in House Bill 2.
We are excited that ALL of our Aledo ISD staff will see a 5 to 12.64% pay increase! This pay increase includes raises plus experience stipends for ALL employees. Simply stated:
- Full-time Teachers:
- 1-4 years of completed experience = $3,325 to $3,800 pay increase (5.50-6.25%)
- 5-plus years of completed experience = $6,000 to $9,000 pay increase (9.77-12.64%)
- This includes the House Bill 2 raise PLUS a Teaching Experience Stipend based on total years of teaching experience (see chart below).
- All other staff, including but not limited to paraprofessionals, transportation, maintenance, child nutrition and police staff:
- Pay increase of 5% of pay grade midpoint
- PLUS Aledo ISD Experience Stipend based on total years of service to Aledo ISD (see chart below)
- Special Education teachers:
- Two additional paid flex days
- $3000 stipend (only for teachers serving in centralized special education programs)
- Special Education paraprofessionals:
- Two additional paid professional learning days
- ALL of this pay increase is TRS creditable and will be spread among all of your paychecks. Pending Board approval, this would start on September 1, 2025, and would impact your September paycheck(s).
