College Board National Recognition Program Scholars
TEN ADDITIONAL AHS STUDENTS RECOGNIZED BY COLLEGE BOARD NATIONAL RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Ten Aledo High School students recently learned they earned recognition as National Recognition Program Scholars by the College Board. With 29 students recognized with 57 honors in the fall, the total for AHS now stands at 39 students earning a combined 71 honors by the College Board.
“Our students and their achievements never cease to amaze me; they have faced a challenging two years for students head on and will be that much more successful because of it,” Aledo High School Principal Angi Tims said. “We are so proud to have a record number of our Bearcat students honored by the College Board this year.”
Students honored by the National Recognition Program are recognized as College Board National African American Recognition Program Scholars, College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholars, College Board National Indigenous Recognition Program Scholars, and/or College Board National Rural and Small Town Recognition Program Scholars.
