Local Government Collaborative

Aledo ISD has joined with local city and county government officials and area business leaders to form the Local Government Collaborative.

This initiative is designed to gather these communities and entities together and build continuous communication and collaboration and discuss topics impacting them. 

The LGC also provides an opportunity for these communities to highlight important initiatives and talk specifically about planning for the continuous growth impacting each city and county. Officials and leaders from Aledo, Annetta, Hudson Oaks, Willow Park, Cresson, Parker County, the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce and the Aledo Education Foundation attended the first meeting on Oct. 2, 2018.

The LGC meets quarterly to continue conversations regarding topics impacting the communities including legislative priorities, roadways, water and wastewater availability.
