Aledo LEADS

Aledo Leads is a new Aledo ISD initiative designed to engage a group of community members in a series of mini-workshops and activities, facilitated by the Aledo ISD Board of Trustees, superintendent, and senior leadership in order to grow:

  • connections among community and AISD leaders, staff and students
  • understanding among community leaders of the varied aspects and operations of AISD and the school experience in AISD
  • the deep community investment in our local schools and school children that is a hallmark of AISD.

The inaugural Aledo Leads cohort met in 2024-2025 and the second cohort started in the Fall of 2025. The cohorts were chosen as a diverse representation of all campuses and areas of the community; parents, non-parents, and business and community leaders; and Aledo ISD graduates, district newcomers and everyone in between. The participants study topics such as teaching and learning, communications, student programs, personnel/human resources, school finance, safety and security, bonds, growth, and facilities.
