The Aledo High School Bearcat Regiment earned 5th place at the UIL State Marching Band Competition Tuesday, November 7, 2024. This achievement marks the highest the Bearcat Regiment has ranked at the UIL State Marching Competition. Learn more about the Bearcat Regiment's 2024 season.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees recognized the latest group of students named Bearcats of Character for the 2024-2025 school year on Monday night, celebrating their demonstration of the character trait, open mindedness. Learn more about these outstanding Bearcats and how they embody open mindedness on their campuses.
Aledo High School was recently honored with two awards from the College Board for its strong Advanced Placement test results as well as for a commitment to equitable access to AP courses. The campus also had 94 students earn 110 scholar recognitions from the College Board.
Thanks to our partnership with the Parker County Hospital District, flu vaccinations will be available for Aledo ISD!

We are excited to inform you about an upcoming Stop the Bleed training session that we will be offering to our students in middle and high school. This valuable training program teaches participants how to effectively respond to bleeding emergencies, equipping them with life-saving skills that can make a critical difference in emergency situations.

For the sixth-straight year, the Aledo ISD Board of Trustees has adopted a lower tax rate, lowering the rate by $0.0023 for 2024-2025 and bringing the total six-year reduction to nearly $0.39 cents.
Over the last five years, the Maintenance and Operations side of the tax rate has been compressed after the passing of House Bill 3 in 2019. The Board adopted a new tax rate of $1.2052 for 2024-2025 on Monday night.
