These employees were chosen from among many nominees for Circle of Greatness since the start of school to represent the best of the best of our auxiliary, paraprofessional, professional and substitute categories! They will now be in the running for the overall districtwide Circle of Greatness awards later this year!

Aledo ISD announces the hiring of two new assistant principals in the district. David Maddox will be an assistant principal at McAnally Middle School and Kristin Bundy will be the assistant principal at Annetta Elementary.

Lauren Edwards has been named the Aledo ISD Director of Community Development and Engagement, spearheading a new position for the district that will focus on community partnerships, sponsorships and advertising for the district.

After eight months of working on planning for the future of high school learning space in Aledo ISD, the 2025-2026 Aledo Growth Committee presented their final recommendations to the Board of Trustees at the April regular meeting on Monday night.
