Aledo Growth Committee

Help Shape the Future of Aledo ISD High Schools
The Aledo Growth Committee (AGC) is working with the district to explore what high school learning should look like for future generations of Aledo students. Rather than simply asking when a second high school will be built, the AGC is considering how Aledo ISD can design learning spaces that prepare students for the next 50+ years.
Two concepts are being developed: a College and Career Academy, which would provide advanced academics and career-focused opportunities for all high school students, and a second comprehensive high school, similar to Aledo High School but with modernized, flexible learning environments.
While no bond proposal is being planned, the AGC’s goal is to create conceptual designs for both options so the district is ready when growth demands new high school space.
The district invites the Aledo community to share feedback and help shape this vision. The deadline to provide feedback is 4 p.m. on Friday, November 21. Click the button above to share your thoughts.
