Hello Bearcats! 

My name is Audrey Mann and I am the ESL Specialist for both Walsh Elementary and the Early Childhood Academy.  I serve students who speak another language at home and are learning English.  Each campus is different, and each student is different.  There are about 6-8 different home languages represented on each of my campuses.  That is one of the reasons my job is so much fun!

I graduated from Texas Tech University with an emphasis on English as a Second Language (ESL).  I started out as an elementary classroom teacher supporting English learners in my general education classroom.  I soon landed my dream job as an ESL specialist and have served in this role ever since. I love learning about different cultures from my students and seeing their language grow and confidence build throughout the years.
