Hey Bearcats!  My name is Meagann Commons and I am an ESL Specialist for the district!  I was born and raised in Aledo, so being able to come back to my home town and teach is so special to me.  I attended Texas Tech University, where I studied multidisciplinary studies with an emphasis on English as a Second Language in Elementary Education.  I have taught in Aledo since 2014 and spent many years in first, second, and third grades before landing my dream job of ESL Specialist in 2021!

I met my husband at Texas Tech University and we got married in 2016!  We have two little boys, Emmett (3) & Lane (1), and a silver lab named, Duke! Some of my favorite things to do are read, CrossFit, surf, and spend time with my family outside!  I have a special love for my language students and can't wait for another GREAT year of learning and growing alongside them!
