Hey there!  I am Mrs. Watkins and I am so excited to be your 2nd grade teacher this year.  This is my 5th year teaching, but my first year at Walsh.  I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Public Relations.  I was feeling unfulfilled in my marketing career and felt a calling to teach.  I became a certified Early Education teacher in 2007.

At home, I have my wonderful husband of 18 years, Austen, and our two children Brooks (10) and Landry (8).  They both also attend Walsh.  We also have to dog fur babies, Addy and Ellie, and a brand new kitten named Louie.

I am so excited for this year and can't wait to meet all of you!
