Hello Walsh Families,

 I am Heather Street, the principal of Walsh Elementary. It is an incredible opportunity to be a part of Aledo ISD during such an exciting time of growth.

 I have been very fortunate that my journey as an educator has provided a variety of experiences supporting the unique needs of an elementary campus. I will be entering my 17^th year in education at the 2022-23 onset and having previously worked in a variety of roles in Fort Worth, Frisco, and Aledo ISD, I plan to pull upon those experiences to ensure that all students at Walsh Elementary are safe, loved, and each academically challenged as they discover their passions as a learner.

 I look forward to getting to know our students and families this year. Please feel free to reach out, look for volunteer opportunities, or share a big Hello in the carpool line as we all collectively work to Grow Greatness at Walsh Elementary.
