Annual Required Training
2020-2021 School Year
The district's annual compliance training is brought to you by SafeSchools Online Training. You will receive an email notification when you are set up in the system. If you do not hold a district email address we used your personal email address for setup purposes and this is your username. From the SafeSchools email, it will prompt you to click on the link to open the training site. Once you are on the landing/log in page, there will be instructions on how to log in. Generally no password is required to log in. Please bookmark this website as a favorite for ease of future access.

You will find the trainings designated for your classification (Auxiliary / Professional-Instructional / Paraprofessional / Substitute, etc.) already loaded and ready for you to click on/access. Along with these trainings, your annual Employee Handbook and Agreements are also posted. You will need to review these documents and confirm understanding.
The complete set of mandatory trainings/documents should take roughly 2-3 hours to complete, along with questionnaires of understanding at the end. You may start/stop these trainings at designated points provided in the videos for your convenience and finish at later times.
All non-exempt/paraprofessional and auxiliary team members should complete these trainings while you are on the clock. Check with your administrator to determine best times to view these trainings where you log the time.
The district’s annual Cyber Training hosted by KnowB4 was sent to you separately at a later date.
You will have until November 13, 2020 to complete these SafeSchool Online Trainings and you will receive email reminders every two weeks to keep you updated where you are in the process.
