I am Coach Spruill and I am looking forward to working with you and your student this year in Texas History and/or in Athletics. This will be my fifth year teaching Texas History and my sixth year in education as well as my fifthyear to coach athletics. I am excited to be teaching Texas History again as I enjoy the unique and persevering spirit of our state. I come from a family of history teachers and coaches and feel honored to keep that tradition alive. 

I was raised in Arlington and later raised my children in Coppell, Texas. I have four sons: Bryce (24), Blake (23), Beau (16), and Brody (11). Bryce graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in May of 2019 and is now in Space Force. He played football for the Falcons and I miss my visits to Colorado Springs. He now lives and works for the Space Force in Los Angeles. Blake attended the Univeristy of Arkansas, but has come back to Texas to pursue education here in the Metroplex. Beau is junior and plays football at Coppell High School and sweet Brody is a new middle schooler. 

I am so grateful to be back in the classroom to care for your children each day. We are going to make it through this year with positive attitudes, flexibility, and the enthusiasm to learn and grow. I am here for you and your student, please reach out to me at any time this year. GO BEARCATS!!
