Aledo High School Daily Announcements

    • Leading Ladies will be collecting the following items to put in blessing bags for a Women’s Shelter:  Toothbrushes and Toothpaste, Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, Underwear and Socks, Razors, and Diapers.  There will be boxes available for drop-off by the front office and in the cafeteria. We will be collecting these items through December 15th.

    • Attention!! It’s time for some fun! The class of 2024 will be raising money for their prom, and YOU get to choose which of your favorite teachers and administrators will get a PIE TO THE FACE! Thank you to these 5 amazing staff members who have volunteered to be our pie face candidates: Coach McCone, Mr. Moore, Coach Henyon, Mrs. Tims and Mrs. Callaway. Please visit our table during any lunch and donate – the teacher who earns the most money will be the lucky winner! If you want to throw the pie, you can also purchase a $2 ticket with a chance to be chosen as our pie thrower!

    • Today is the last day for the sports ball drive. Please bring NEW soccer balls, volleyballs, basketballs, footballs, etc. to room 306 to contribute to this drive and give kids new gifts for Christmas.

    • FFA members who are interested in participating on the Floriculture CDE team, Nursery Landscape CDE Team, or Milk Quality CDE team, will be having an interest meeting on Wednesday, December 8 during flex in Ms. Holland’s classroom.

    • FFA members who sold Riverstar Fundraising Fruit items will need to pick up their items on December 13 from 4:10 PM- 5:30 PM. You must make arrangements to have your fruit items picked up in the ag building during this time frame.

    • FFA members who are exhibiting an animal at the Parker County Livestock Show will need to attend a student and parent meeting on December 14 from 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM. The location has not been set yet, but that information will be communicated as soon as it is set.

    • FFA members, we will be taking yearbook pictures during Flex on Thursday, December 9 in the main gym. You will need to wear your FFA t-shirt from this year in the picture.

    • Herff Jones will be here this Friday outside of the counselor’s office taking orders for cap and gown, class rings, and graduation announcements. Stop by and see them if you have any questions!
