Mrs. Lendy Nicholson
My name is Lendy Nicholson and I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher for the 2021-22 school year. I know that this will be another great year of learning and growing as Walsh Cats!
I am a graudate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Education. My certification is in elementary education and special education. Before coming to Aledo ISD, I spent time teaching in Fort Worth ISD and Arlington ISD. Over the course of the past 23 years, I taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade and been an ESL pullout teacher. This year I am excited to continue my graduate degree at Tarleton State University. Go Texans!
On a more personal note, my husband and I live in Weatherford with our three kids. Zachary is an 11th grader and Daniel is in 10th grade. Our daughter, Kendall, is a proud 7th grader at Aledo Middle School. If we are not at school, we are running to the football field, band activities, church…and we love every minute of it! ☺
Teaching is something that has been in my blood since I was a very little girl. I can remember setting up my stuffed animals to play “school.” Teaching and being a teacher became a calling in my life very early. This calling penetrates to the very core of my soul. Nothing gives me more joy than watching and listen as children explore and learn about the world around them. Thank you for entrusting your child to me this year. I will do my very best to make sure that 4th grade is a great year for them! I look forward to working with each of you this year. If there is anything I can do to help you or your family, please don’t hesitate to call.
