Please allow me to introduce myself . . .

I have been teaching at Aledo Middle School for 19 years; prior to AMS, I taught at Stuard Elementary after coming to the Aledo ISD from Dallas. While once an eighth grade English Language Arts teacher, over the years I have taken on the roles of Journalism teacher as well as Film as a Literary Genre teacher. To add, I am the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for our campus. While I wear many hats, each endeavor brings to me such joy for teaching and a love for middle school students. 

On a personal note, I have two grown sons, and they have given me three precious and perfect grandchildren. There is nothing I enjoy more than having friends and family at my home where we partake in good food, good conversation, and good times.
