I am truly excited to be your child’s teacher this year! The beginning of school is one of my favorite times of the year.

I just want to let you know that as I begin my 19th year of teaching, I still treasure the process of helping little ones learn as if it were my first year. I graduated from of The University of North Texas with a degree in early childhood education and immediately began my career as a kindergarten teacher at Ridglea Hills Elementary in Fort Worth ISD. I always tell people that kindergarten is where my heart is!

My family and I are active Bearcats and are very involved in the community. We have made Aledo our home for almost 19 years and can't imagine a better place for raising children. I have been married to Jason Ellerbusch, the love of my life, for 20 years and together we have 4 children- ALL boys!! Hershel is a junior in college. Jacob attends Aledo High School, Jackson is starting 8th grade at Aledo Middle School and Zane is starting 5th grade here at Vandagriff. When I'm not busy teaching and chasing after my boys, I love boating and watching and playing sports myself.
