About the School Nurse: Mrs. Kristi Creed serves in her 12th year as the Intermediate Campus Nurse. Before joining the Bearcat Family, her nursing experience includes practicing Nursing at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas and Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
Nurse Creed is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse and one of few School Nurses certified in Pediatric Nursing in the state. She uses over 20 years of purely Pediatric Nursing experience in her daily care to children and this experience prepares her with a skill set for caring for school health needs.
Her service in the district and in the community includes: District School Health Advisory Committee, Health Safety in STUCO, Diabetic Alert Dog Program, organizing the Campus Medical Response Team, Summer Camp Nurse and Mission Trip Nurse.
She seeks to help students better understand their medical diagnoses, achieve greater understanding, and become proficient in managing medical cares. She strives to help students and staff experience increased instructional time and healthy school days in the classroom.
My Nursing Mission: My hope is to serve my students, families, and staff wholeheartedly the best of my abilities and training as a Registered Nurse in the educational setting through:
-Cultivated caring and clinical compassion -Elevating Administrators and walking along side Classroom Educators -Sacrificing to serve all students and staff -Serving and working together -Believing there is room for everyone.
My Plan of Action: To foster a healthy environment for all students by caring and meeting individual health needs while inspiring students to become healthy community role models and learning leaders in all they do.

Medication, and Dietary Forms: ALL OTC/Rx Medications require a completed form. A physician must complete prescription medications, dietary forms, and activity orders/releases.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!! Any student entering 7th grade (Aug 2021) must turn in TDAP and MCV4 immunizations to AMS. Any student entering 6th grade (Aug 2021) can provide required shots through the portal (new students, students missing a required shot, ect). After August 9th upon my return from summer, I will contact those 6th grade families with missing immunizations for starting school first day.
The district will provide information on a Shot Clinic prior to the start of school. Watch social media and messages for this information. Thank you!
