Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Joni Myres
Hi Everyone! I am very excited to be a part of Aledo ISD.
Just a little about myself … I am originally from Amarillo, and graduated college from West Texas A&M. I began my teaching career in Stephenville back in 2012. Shortly after marrying my husband, Dameon, we moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where I taught seventh grade for five years. We have a daughter, Leighton – who is 3 years old, and have been back in Texas for nearly one full year now. We moved back after my husband accepted a position to work at TCU. Upon moving back, I taught within Fort Worth ISD this past year.
Heading into my eighth year as an educator, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work here at McAnally Intermediate. I would like to thank you in advance for being so patient with all of the changes that have been made this year.
